It takes a village to pull off the largest Fireman's Fair in New Jersey. And Tower Hill loves to help out our community village. Join us in this longstanding Tower Hill experience and give the firehouse volunteers a much needed break. We are taking over some of the game booths on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30. There are a few ways you can help the church operationally. 1) With the new service times flipped, we need additional people to help our worship stage Transition Team. You may either stay after the 10:15 service to help, or come early to the 11:45. Make an impact while still enjoying service!! 2) Finance - We need suport on our finance team from folks with a financial background. We need support in data entry and excel from those who have that skillset. 3) Sign up for recurring giving to allow us to plan. (Set up recurring giving, click "Support Tower Hill" from menu above.
To allow growth in our church, to reach more people for Jesus, we quite frankly need more room in the pews. We are hopeful our new service times will allow for growth. During this transition, we need to WELCOME our people as they pledge to make new service times work in their schedule. Specifically, we need with help in the parking lot between the 10:15 and 11:45 services (to help make sure the 11:45 service gets the parking spots they need) and help with food set up in Webster Hall for our Traditional worshipers to have a bit of breakfast before the 11:45 service. Help brighten the lives of the children of the Dominican Republic this Christmas by purchasing much needed supplies and much appreciated gifts this summer! Tower Hill supports 2 Christian schools in the DR. The children in both schools face many challenges, such as food insecurity and an unstable home life. Once again, we can share some Christmas spirit with these children. Each child will receive a drawstring bag filled with a toy, hygiene items, school supplies, jar of peanut butter and a treat. We collect in the summer/early fall to save on shipping container costs so the children can receive the most benefit. This year we have two options. Option A - If you prefer to let your fingers do the walking, shop from our Amazon Wish List. Those items will be delivered to our collection. Option B - If you enjoy shopping, choose a donation and purchase on your own. We will be having two collection days at Tower Hill on Sunday September 22 and 29 between services if you prefer to drop them off.
Help HABcore raise much needed funds by volunteering at their concession stand at Red Bank's Movies in the Park! 6:30-9:30ish. Adult & High School volunteers needed. Middle schoolers may volunteer with a parent. (Students this is great for service hours!)
Help Tower Hill serve the Lunch Break community dinners every 4th Friday of the month! Sign up for any dates you can help. Time: 5:30-8PM. You meet at the Lunch Break facility in Red Bank at 5:30 to help with set up and get instructions. Dinner is served at 6. Ages 16+ can help.
